On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Urban Health Plan will host our 5th Annual Holiday Hiring Event! As we prepare for a new year, this is a wonderful opportunity to come to interview for administrative and clinical support positions in our health centers and school-based programs. While we are looking to make more immediate hiring placements from the event, we are also looking to network and meet new talent for future opportunities that may arise.

This event is by appointment only. The window to apply is between now and December 6th. The event will be held in the Bronx, but representatives from our Corona, Queens locations will be in attendance to interview for Queens-based openings.

We are accepting applications to attend the hiring event and to hire for a variety of healthcare-related positions:

Certified Medical Assistants/Phlebotomists
Registered Nurses (Full time and Part Time openings)
Licensed Social Workers for full-time clinical therapy roles (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)
Administrative Support: Patient Service Representatives a(Medical Front Desk- 1 year administrative experience required), Intake Associates, and Call Center Associates (remote/entry level)

To meet the minimum requirements, you must possess a High School Diploma/GED, Bilingual English/Spanish required for most roles, and depending on the position a related certification/licensure (e.g. Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Nurse, LMSW). Additional requirements vary by job title.

Medical Assistant: $21.00/hour
Nurses- $81,000-$97,000 for full time; $53.50 for part time.
Licensed Social Workers (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW)- $72,000-$94,000 contingent on licensure type and experience level
Administrative Support: Onsite Patient Service Representatives ($18.75/hour), Remote Call Center Associates ($17.25/hour)
