Position Summary:We are currently hiring a Full Time Certified (Bilingual- Spanish/English) Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join the team at Tres Puentes Community Health Center. Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 0-1 years of related clinical experience required. Certification of completion as a Medical Assistant required along with National Phlebotomy, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant (CCMA) redentials, required. Bilingual Spanish/English is required. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients. Understanding of medical terminology, computer skills, and multi-tasking.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties:Obtain vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history and accurately records in medical records. Maintains clinical logs and exam room logs. Registers and verifies patient demographics. Schedules appointments and recalls patients for required services. Prepares examination rooms, maintains inventory, and sterilizes instruments.
