Job Description: We are looking for Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to provide primary care services as part of our School Based Health clinical team. The Physician Assistant will work with a multi-disciplinary team to care for and provide medical services to patients, including examining/conducting tests; analyze records, reports, and test results; to prevent and/or diagnose illness, disease or injury; prescribe/administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, and/or injury; explain procedures and test results on prescribed treatment plan; manage labs, referrals. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with other physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physicians, and other support staff as part of the clinical team.  Perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands.   Experience and Skills: Completion of an approved/accredited educational program for Physician Assistants 

Valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS

Ability to effectively communicate, follow established procedures and protocols

Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferred
