Holiday Hiring Event- Patient Service Representative

Individuals being considered for this role may be invited to attend a special holiday hiring event that we are holding on Wednesday December 17th. Individuals selected will have a start date in January of 2026. Position summary:We are currently hiring Bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Service Representatives (PSR) to join our team at Urban Health Plan, Inc. The Patient Service Presentative provides information, support, encouragement, and assistance to patients and families as they arrive at the health care facility. This role greets and registers patients and visitors, verifies and records patient information, and provides comfort and empathy to patients while maintaining the waiting room. This role provides accurate and consistent information to patients, schedule appointments, and resolves patient concerns. Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients. Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.

Starting Compensation: $19.50 per hour based on 40 hours per week ($40,560 annualized). Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of The Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
